New album -- Crossroads
The Crossroads project has been recorded an album, released in May 2026.
Crossroads is a new project born from the collaboration between the Belgian quartet Motyk and the Georgian women's choir Sathanao. The program weaves the mystical polyphony of Georgian singing with Motyk's dynamic and adventurous compositions, creating a compelling dialogue between past and present, tradition and innovation, in which both ensembles challenge and enrich one another.
Album release -- Bamako Express -- November 2026
With L'Ombre du Croco, their debut album, Bamako Express builds a musical bridge between worlds. Sung in Bambara—a language widely spoken across Mali and Burkina Faso—the songs explore themes of family, love, traditon, identty, and human connecton. Warm vocals, hypnotc balafon melodies, virtuosic violin, and infectous rhythms come together to create a rich and colorful sound that is both deeply rooted and refreshingly contemporary.
